Incident Overview with Fiverr Vendor

We placed an order with the freelancer for backlinks to be added to our website. His name is Muhammad Shayan and currently works for TechVolte. However, during the payment process, we encountered an issue where the freelancer’s payment method was incompatible with our bank. This made it impossible to proceed with the transaction.

2.Clear Communication to Cancel the Order:

Recognizing this issue, we immediately informed the freelancer, before the work had begun, that the order could not be completed and instructed them to cancel and disregard the request. This communication made it clear that no work should proceed under these circumstances.

3.Freelancer’s Unauthorized Action:

Despite being explicitly told to cancel the order, the freelancer later returned, claiming they had completed the work and demanded payment. This was done without our approval or agreement, violating the principle of consent in professional transactions.

4.Threats and Coercion:

When we reiterated that no payment could be made due to the cancelled order, the freelancer threatened to place backlinks to our site on adult websites unless we paid them.
